Reservations
There are two ways ot make a reservation: Easiest- click on "Check Availability" and follow the instructions on the Webervations Reservation system. Fill in the desired dates and submit the your request. If the dates you have requested are already booked, please consider alternate dates. You may also call the inn to double check the availability or ask for other B&B recommendations in the area. An email confirmation from the Apple Blossom Inn will follow. No reservation is complete until the confirmation has been sent.
More Personal- Call us at 540-740-3747 and we will answer your particular questions. To complete the reservation, we will ask you for to give your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card number. If the innkeepers cannot answer the phone, an answering machine is available to take your message. There is no need to leave any information on the answering machine other than your name, phone number, and the dates requested. Please try to place your calls between 9am and 8 pm.
If we are not available for the dates you will be visiting New Market, we have some other recommendations.
Payment Options
Once you have made a reservation (above), you have two payment options.
1. We prefer payment by cash or check at the inn. If you book online, you will be asked to submit a credit card number to hold your reservation. We do not charge the card and the number will be permanently erased from our reservation system when you arrive.
2. Pay with a credit card using one of the payal buttons below. (You do not have to have a Paypal account to use your credit card on this secure, online payment system.) Even though you give your credit card number on the online reservation form, you must still use the Paypal buttons below to pay using a credit card. There is no onsite credit card processing machine. If you cancel your reservation after payment is received from Paypal, we will refund your payment through Paypal.
On the payment screen, make sure and change the "quantity" to the number of nights you will be lodging here. A 5% state tax and 4% transient occupancy tax will be added.
1 guest - $125 a night

Other Policies
This is a NON-SMOKING Inn.
Pets are not permitted.
Children, 9 years and older, are welcome.
Check in time is 4 pm. Check out is at 11 am.
No potato products may be cooked or consumed in the house. This is due to a severe airborne allergy of the hostess.
Two night Minimum Booking is required on the following days: JMU October Parent Weekend, JMU May graduation, Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4, Memorial, Labor Day and any October weekends
Any booking made more than four months in advance, requires a $100 deposit. The deposit will be refundable, if the booking is cancelled one month in advance. Cancellations within a month will be charged the deposit amount. If the booking is kept, the deposit will be applied to the final bill.
According to safety requirements, The Apple Blossom Inn can accomodate no more than five guests. It is really only suitable for four people. If the fourth or fifth guest requires the set up of an extra bed and linen, an additional fee of $25 will be assessed.
Due to Health Department restrictions, guests are not permitted to bring in mattresses, linens, sleeping bags or other alternative bed set-ups.
Guests are not allowed to move the existing furniture in the Inn or hang anything on the walls (i.e. pictures. dress hooks, etc) . Guests will be assessed for damages to the property.
